The staff at Blade Craft Barber Academy is second to none. Meet our director and team members below.

Lilly Benitez, the owner and founder of Blade Craft Barber Academy has mastered her craft of barbering and customer service in the salon industry since 2003. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is committed to establishing BCBA as a staple in the industry.

She has been searching the last few years for the right opportunity to target male-specific barbering education. After years of research and investigation across the country, Lilly has decided to build it herself.

While the future could bring various locations nationally for Lilly's concept, she focused the start of her business in Dallas, Texas with the dream to create an elite level of barber training, and hopes to expand to provide many opportunities outside of Dallas.

Barbering and education are Lilly's passions, and she is committed to providing the best of both to her students and community.

From salons and barbershops to playing bass and spinning records, Noe has a passion for personal achievement and bringing a positive atmosphere to everything he does. Behind the chair since 2013, these years have helped shape him into the educator he is today.

Apart from being a licensed cosmetologist, barber and barber instructor, he has had the opportunity to travel to different countries and consult on barbershop projects. All of the interactions with other barbers have influenced his teachings of today. Noe is committed to sharing his knowledge with anyone eager to learn and grow.

His favorite part of being an educator is helping set goals and seeing them through to completion. His love for the students, BCBA culture, and atmosphere is immense and it shines through his work.

After serving 12 years in the US Army as an Intelligence Analyst and Linguist, Matt decided it was time for a change of pace. Starting out as a cosmetologist and cosmetology instructor, he wanted to focus more on the barbering aspect of the industry.

Matt attended the Blade Craft Barber Academy Blade Apprentice (Crossover) program. After successful completion, he felt that even though he didn't have to take the Master Apprentice (Barber Instructor) course he should so that he would be better equipped to educate future barbers.

Maya Angelou said..." Do the best you can until you know better. When you know better, do better." This is how I look at education. It is a continuous process.
