The staff at Blade Craft Barber Academy is second to none. Meet our director and team members below.
Lilly Benitez, the owner and founder of Blade Craft Barber Academy has mastered her craft of barbering and customer service in the salon industry since 2003. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is committed to establishing BCBA as a staple in the industry.
She has been searching the last few years for the right opportunity to target male-specific barbering education. After years of research and investigation across the country, Lilly has decided to build it herself.
While the future could bring various locations nationally for Lilly's concept, she focused the start of her business in Dallas, Texas with the dream to create an elite level of barber training, and hopes to expand to provide many opportunities outside of Dallas.
Barbering and education are Lilly's passions, and she is committed to providing the best of both to her students and community.

DUAL-LICENSED PROFESSIONAL & EDUCATOR
Being a licensed cosmetologist, and barber has been an adventure! Starting right out of high school it seemed pretty clear that I knew it was where I wanted to be.
After working in the Toni and Guy salons for a few years, specializing in color, I was interested in getting back into hair cutting, and heard about Sports Clips. Eight years later, I found myself looking for more. Furthering my education, attending Blade Craft Barber Academy, it has added to my clipper skills, and 'feel stretch shave' to my tool belt.
Today I am a barbershop/salon owner, dual licensed professional, and educator at Blade Craft Barber Academy! I am beyond excited for what my future has in store for me!
LICENSED BARBER & INSTRUCTOR
Veronica is a licensed barber and instructor with a Milady Master Educator certification in Business Fundamentals.
She loves educating because she learns to be in a learning environment, and gets a huge feeling of satisfaction from helping people learn, especially when it comes to the huge impact that their career can have in their life.
Veronica enjoys being a part of BCBA because of the culture, the love of the craft of barbering that everyone shares. She's noted that it's her barber home, and doesn't feel like work because no two days are ever the same.
She believes that she brings diversity, positivity, and experience to the students' journey in becoming a professional barber.
