We offer two primary courses: Barber and Blade. In addition to those major education courses, we do also host continuing education courses for licensed professionals.

Our Barber (1,000-hour) Apprentice courses is the entry-level program to educate students new to cosmetology while the Blade Apprenticeship is designed for current licensed cosmetologists looking to expand their expertise and receive their Class-A Barber license.

Each of our primary courses are a time commitment of 25 hours per week, but the number of weeks changes depending on which course you are enrolled in. The Blade Apprenticeship is 13 weeks long. 

Students who choose to go through the part-time (Saturdays only) programs for the Blade or Barber Apprenticeship will double this time commitment.

Blade Craft Barber Academy will contact the applicant either by phone, email, or written notification indicating acceptance or non-acceptance within seven (7) business days following interviews with school officials.

Tuition covers the cost of not only the instruction over the course of your education at BCBA, but also your tool kit.
